Nominating individual warrants that the organization's compliance officer and/or legal counsel have been consulted and that the organization is not prohibited from accepting the Magnet Prize Award or any related benefit. The nominated organization has not been awarded the Magnet Prize in the past two years. Nominating individual warrants that the nominated organization is currently designated Magnet and in good standing through October 31, 2022. Only one nomination will be accepted each year from any given Magnet designated organization regardless of size, setting, or location. Online Submission Steps and Instructions: Magnet Prize winners are prohibited from submitting another Magnet Prize nomination for two years following their winning innovation. The nominated organization must be currently designated Magnet and in good standing through October 31, 2022. Only one organization and that organization's nurses are recognized as Magnet Prize winners. Magnet Prize is awarded to a single organization. Only one nomination will be accepted each year from a given Magnet-designated organization regardless of size, setting, or location. Nominations will be evaluated by a blinded peer review process conducted by a committee of national nursing leaders that includes chief nursing officers (CNOs) from prior Magnet Prize-winning organizations, as well as members of the Commission on Magnet Recognition Program and the ANCC Board of Directors. 
The 2021 ANCC Magnet Prize winner will have one year to further develop their innovative program or project after which they will return the following year to present their program/project outcomes at the 2022 ANCC National Magnet Conference®. Established in 2002 by the ANCC Board of Directors, the ANCC Magnet Prize is presented to a Magnet designated organization whose program or project best represents exemplary achievements in patient care services, including initiatives in healthcare delivery and research leading to innovations that result in positive outcomes.
